Conversation between a Muslim boy and his mother
Muslim boy: My friend (a non-Muslim) said that he only prays once a week. Why don’t weconvert to their religion, Ma? It’s easier if we don’t have to pray five times a day!
Mother: Okay from now on, you can only play with your toys once a week. How do you feel about that?
Boy: But I love my toys. I will miss them!
Mother: So you love them and you will miss them if you only see them once a week?
Boy: Yes!
Mother: That’s how Allah will feel if you only pray and talk to Him once a week. You didn’t even create those toys yet you love them so much. Allah created you, so imagine how much more He loves you and you only want tobe with Him once a week??
The next day, the boy told his friend, “God misses you. You should talk to Him and pray to Him more often.”
