Allah does not bestow five qualities on anyone without
bestowing five other gifts. These are :
(1) When a person shows gratitude (shukr), Allah raises his
dignity;
(2) when a person makes du’a (supplication), Allah fulfills his
supplication;
(3) when a person begs for mercy, Allah forgives him;
(4) when a person repents, Allah accepts his repentance;
(5) when a person spends money in sadaqah (charity), Allah
fulfills his request.
