BIDA’AH – TWO ~
Bida’ah is when you do something which Nabi (saw) never did…
and insist doing it…its going against Sunnah…! If a Hadith quotes
Nabi (saw) as saying…‘don't close your eyes during prayer’...but
you insist you want to close your eyes…purposely to go against
the hadith…its going against the Sunnah...!
If a person does a research on verses Nabi (saw) never recited in
Fard Prayers…it may be acceptable… (although the purpose itself
is a waste)…BUT…if the research is for the sole purpose of reciting
it in prayers…that would be going against the Sunnah…it is the
intentions which are taken into account…!
And who takes account of our intentions and actions…it’s ALLAH
(swt)…not you and me or any copy and paste group who self-
claim their own authority…!
The difference in the end between the mediocre externalist
Wahabbi…and the rest of the community is not intellectual…but
psychological…! The Sufi aim is based on feeling incomplete and
incorrect before Allah (swt)…but the Wahabbi way is to make
you feel incomplete and incorrect before them…!
The Sufis seek only Allah’s (swt) approval…and turn from all that
is other-than-Allah…!
