WISDOM The word ‘ilm’ appears 750 times in the Respected Quran…the Quran very often paired with the word wisdom and knowledge…! It may mean that GOD seeks to share HIS Knowledge with man through HIS Revelation…! Man shares in the reality of GOD…through acquiring HIS Knowledge…! And it is for thosewho embark on this path that the Quran has been revealed…! The process of transference of HIS Knowledge…from HIM to man…was set in at mans’ creation…for man was to be HIS deputy (khalifah) on earth…! HE gave man the knowledge of the things of the secret of the Heaven and the earth…HE Imparted on man a part of HIS Knowledge that the angels were deprived…2: 30-33…! This means that…knowledge is the All-Encompassin g Consciousness of GOD with which HE Endowed man at his creation…! Manremains HIS creation…other than HIM…but as he embodies in himself HIS all-encompassin g consciousness by virtue of which he comprehends the essence of each phenomenon or of every particle of creation…he shares HIS nature…!
