LIGHT (An-Nur) Three intertwined concepts increasingly employed in the Majestic Quran that throws ample light on the Unitarian Concept of GOD - TRUTH…KNOWLEDGE …LIGHT (Truth and Knowledge had been discussed in the earlier posts)…! Light is another important concept through which the dualistic nature of Divine Unity is explained…! Like Truth…Light denotes a reality that is beyond man and his world…yet…is in the heavens and earth and isgranted to man…when he strives for it (not just sit and read…copy and paste)…! The Revelation is the Light given to man by GOD…64:8…4:174… 5:15, 44, 46…! The Prophets embody HIS Light…57:19… And those to whom HE Wills…24:36… GOD would perfect HIS Light…61:8… And to whomsoever GOD assigns no Light, no light has he…24:40… And those, to whom the Light is given, are notequal to those who are in darkness, nor the seeing and the blind are alike…13:16…35: 19, 20… And those who do not know are not equal…39:9…57:1 2, 13…! ‘Allah guides all who seek HIS good pleasure and leads them out of darkness by HIS Will unto the Light, guides them to a path that is straight’ (5:16)…AMEEN…!! !
