✦ REVIVE A SUNNAH ⇨ "EAT FOOD WITH VINEGAR" ✦ The Prophet sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam likedto eat food with vinegar. Aisha radiyAllaahu 'anha reported: The Prophet, sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, said, “The best of condiments is vinegar.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 23, Number 5091] The companions (radiyAllaahu 'anhum) loved vinegar because the Prophet (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) loved vinegar. Jabir ibn Abdullah (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah, sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, took hold of my hand one day and led me to his residence. Some pieces of bread were given to him and he said, “Are there any condiments?” They said, “None except for some vinegar.” He said, “Verily, vinegar is an excellent condiment.” Jabir said, “I have always loved vinegar ever since I heard this from the Prophet.” Talha said, “I have always loved vinegar ever since I heard this from Jabir.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 23, Number 5094]
