AWARENESS Three things…rare indeed…are conferred on the seeker by the Grace of the Creator…being a human, the longing for self-realizatio n and having the protecting care of a perfected Guide. The one who is foolish enough NOT to exert himself for spiritual insight - truly commits suicide - for he kills himself by clinging to nothing but illusion…! There is no apprehension of the Truth, without the realization of ones identity with one’s Soul. All worship and sacrifices, rituals and obligations are worthless without self-realizatio n…! You are considered a man of ‘learning’ only after your desire for self-consciousn ess emanated within…while renouncing the desire for pleasure of the physical senses. Mystical consciousness cannot be attained by material wealth or thro’ the mechanical following of religious obligations. He, who is wise and learned, commences the practice of apprehension…by giving up all understandingwith motives…both good and evil…because allactions carry rewards of blessings or punishments. Good actions lead to purification of the mind, not the perception of Reality. Gaining Enlightenment is the sole purpose of being created…not receiving rewards for actions…This is Spiritual Maturity...! ‘Verily Allah is with those who believe’ (8:19)
