Effects of Ramadan Diet on Health: From the Islamic Perspective, overeating can contradict with the main spirit and aims of month of Ramadan, where all Muslims often share the feeling and show association and sympathy with the poor. Fasts of Holy Ramadan can help in improving the health of a person, however, if the diet is not properly followed, it can worsen the situation. According to a research, it was found that a person should make a plan of his diet about what type of food he should eat and how much quantity is suitable. Experts also believe that it is the metabolism of a person which determines that what type of food and substances will be nutritious for him. Intake of excess food in Iftar or Suhur can be dangerous for a person and can severely affect the metabolism of a person.
